Fingerweaving Headstick
--- Building The Shed [1] ---
(worked from right to left ---- first strand in top layer of the shed.)

[NOTE] The shed is built by transfering one strand at a time to the right hand index finger in over/under configuration.

[NOTE] The over/under configuration of the shed starts with the first strand on the right hand side in the top layer of shed.

[NOTE] The odd numbered strands are placed in the top layer of the shed.

[NOTE] The even numbered strands are placed in the bottom layer of the shed.

Start building the shed.
    Use the thumb and index finger to pick up the first strand from the right hand edge of the work-piece.

      [OBSERVE] The picked up strand is over the index finger.

Use the index finger and the second finger to pick up the second strand from the right hand edge of the work-piece.
    [OBSERVE] The picked up second strand is under the index finger.

Transfer the first two strands to the right hand.
    [NOTE] The first strand is in the top shed layer and the second strand is in the bottom shed layer.

Use the thumb and index finger to pick up the third strand from the right hand edge of the work-piece.

    [OBSERVE] The picked up third strand is over the index finger; the top shed layer.

Use the index finger and the second finger to pick up the fourth strand from the right hand edge of the work-piece.
    [OBSERVE] The picked up fourth strand is under the index finger; the bottom shed layer.

Transfer of the third and fourth strands to the right hand.
    [NOTE] The third strand is in the top shed layer and the fourth strand is in the bottom shed layer.

Following the over/under pattern established with the first four strands, pick up the remaining strands of the shed.

[NOTE] This completes the headstick setup.

[NOTE]The same headstick setup is used for warpface, openface(diagonally interlaced), and interloccked fingerweaving.
